About Us
Introduction
This site, SL FILMNET (an abbreviaton of "Sierra Leone FILM NETwork"), is an ongoing project of the Sierra Leone National Film Workshop. It has been created as a resource for professionals and audiences - in Sierra Leone or internationally - interested in Sierra Leone Film.
It has been designed around a 'wiki' concept, to be a collaborative website so that it does not need to depend solely upon the limited resources of the Workshop for editing, updating and expansion. Consequently, instead of having an "old-fashioned" website of static pages, our website here (hosted by Wetpaint) is accessible to registered users to add comments and/or update the information on the site.
Using this Site
If you experience any difficulties with this site, you can obtain information on how to navigate or use this site, by trying these:-
- Menu - It's called 'NAVIGATION' and is situated on the upper left-hand side of this screen, under the 'SL FILMNET' title. Use it to navigate the site.
- Searchbox - Put in any words to search the entire site and find relevant pages.
- Sitemap - Find the relevant section using the sitemap button at the bottom of the page, left-hand side.
