Film Archives
As more andmore films are made about Sierra Leone and its people, (whether by filmmakers fromSierra Leone or from other countries), it is vital that we create a long term programme of national archiving.
Plans have begun to be put in place for the development of National Film Archive, which can be used by filmmakers and researchers, nationally or internationally, to research, study and enjoy Sierra Leone films.
We encourage all filmmakers to provide a copy of their film for safe keeping in a physical and digital archive (which will be available online).
