This film drama is about rivalries in a Sierra Leone village. A dispute arises between two men, and as the dispute escalates, it highlights their differences and not only threatens lives, but also the very existence of the community. Set in the days of colonial rule, the film explores the tensions that arise between community and individual interests and between traditional beliefs and modern methods, and shares the universal lessons to be learned by the villagers as a consequence of the dispute.







Director Bio:
A newcomer to filmmaking. Having been abducted by rebel soldiers during the war, and lived to tell the tale, he has developed a strong interest in society, culture, and his religion. As founder of a Sierra Leone Christian Youth group (Royal Army of God) he has written and directed several community plays. His demonstrable enthusiasm and potential as a filmmaker (as well as his other professional interest in accountancy) led to his being selected as founding Secretary of the Sierra Leone National Film Workshop. He is now working on other film projects, including films and programmes for children.
